Last Man Standing: Underneath It All

Sorry for neglecting this place for so long. No excuses, I've just been lazy about keeping this place updated. There's some other stuff I'll be posting soon, but I don't expect you to believe me when I say that anymore.

Anyway! You should all go check out Round 1 of the 3rd Last Man Standing competition over at ConceptArt.org. Tons of mindblowingly awesome art by over 300 artists, including a piece by me.

Matches 1-24
Matches 25-48 (I'm in Match 42)
Matches 49-72

The theme for this round was "Underneath It All". I was against some really tough competition so I made something that I thought would really stand out.

Here's my entry:

I really enjoyed your entry. I made the mistake of not soaking in each level and then moving down. But when I realized that was the best way to view it, I had a fun time viewing it again and catching some nice details.

What does it say on the door in the middle, the one just above the core?

wow... bottomless awesomeness!

robert: Thanks! The door says "Core Entry", but it's not even legible to me.

Man, this is most probably the best pixel art I've seen in my life. *snif*
Needless to say it reminds me so much of Monkey Island (and other classic LucasArts' adventures), which makes it even cooler. D:
And I add myself to Tobyr's request. Any chance to get this as a poster? :P

Toby, Cirano: You can buy a print of this at my print shop (http://ultra0kelvin.deviantart.com/store/).

The print will have a fair bit of matting on either side, because they don't support images quite this tall, but hopefully it'll still look good.
